HELP US STOP THE SUBSTATION
JCP&L’s proposed Tewksbury Electric Substation will destroy the Fairmount Historic District and endanger the lives of nearby neighbors. (Our YouTube video at the end of this page will provide you with important background on why this unsafe and inappropriate industrial facility should not be built.)
We’re pleased to report that New Jersey Highlands Coalition, comprised of over 60 environmental and historic preservation groups, has joined forces with the Friends of Fairmount Historic District joined with us in our fight against the JCP&L Tewksbury substation proposal.
To help raise money for the legal battle ahead, the New Jersey Highlands Coalition has set up a special fund to accept tax deductible contributions on behalf of the Friends of Fairmount Historic District. Contributions to the fund also qualify for matching by corporations who have programs established to match employee charitable contributions.
